Summary of Event
When Google Workspace needed to inspire business leaders and influencers around the power of unlocking success with Gemini, MAS created an event that exemplified excellence in corporate event management through strategic innovation and flawless execution. Our challenge was transforming a complex AI product story into an accessible, engaging experience that would drive genuine adoption. We designed a multi-layered activation that featured five distinct elements: an inspiring keynote with Mark Cuban, hands-on demos, intimate analyst engagements, a customer roundtable, and an exclusive creator networking hour. The event's innovation lay in gamifying corporate education, transforming technical training into memorable challenges such as a custom escape room where attendees mastered Gemini tools under pressure, personalized AI photo booths generating shareable content, and real-world demo scenarios using live technology. Recognizing that different audiences require tailored approaches, we facilitated fireside chats and arranged one-on-one conversations between industry analysts and Google executives to ensure technical questions received expert attention, and hosted Learning Labs for classroom style engagement. Gemini at Work delivered exceptional results: 900+ completed product demos, including 200+ AI-generated photos creating organic social amplification, and 60+ successful escape room completions proving genuine skill mastery. Most importantly, we converted critical business and thought leaders into advocates who shared Gemini with their networks, extending impact far beyond the event itself. This single-day event transformed technical training into hands-on memorable moments, raising the bar for corporate events and demonstrating new strategies for introducing complex innovations to an audience.

LOOK: The Dada Ball – A Surreal Celebration of Anti-Art To mark the 10th anniversary of LOOK and Contemporary Calgary, The Dada Ball shattered all expectations of what a fundraising gala could be. Inspired by the anti-establishment art movement of Dadaism, the event rejected tradition in favour of chaos, unpredictability, and immersive absurdity—delivering a high-concept, high-impact evening for art lovers, philanthropists, and creative leaders. Guests were led through a surreal experience from the moment they arrived—not through the front doors, but via a custom-built wooden walkway leading to a hidden emergency exit. Inside, Contemporary Calgary was transformed into a multi-level, sensory dreamscape. From a central scaffolding tower wrapped in cling wrap and filled with performers, to life-sized gummy bears and glitching digital displays, each detail blurred the line between art and environment. Dinner was served in dustpans, centrepieces featured mannequin limbs and deconstructed instruments, and performances ranged from spoken word to a fashion show and a surprise set by Kiesza. Executed in tight timelines and layered with logistical complexity, the event brought together artists, designers, models, and patrons in full creative collaboration. The result? A record-breaking $2.2 million raised for Contemporary Calgary, glowing guest feedback, and a reimagined standard for what a modern art fundraiser can be. This surprise 70th birthday celebration was a heartfelt, high-energy tribute to a beloved honoree, designed to transport 250 of her closest friends, family, and colleagues from every chapter of her life to a private island-style luau - right in the heart of Los Angeles. The purpose: to honor a life well-lived with an immersive, multigenerational experience that blended nostalgia, elegance, and tropical joy. Guests were welcomed by hula dancers, live ukulele music, and fresh kukui nut and floral leis. A tropical cocktail reception featured tiki drinks served in whimsical vessels, passed bites with vibrant garnishes, and themed decor layered with bamboo, palm leaves, and bright florals. The emotional peak came during cocktail hour, when the guest of honor - tricked into thinking she was attending a movie premiere - arrived to a surprise chorus of “Happy Birthday,” greeted by waves of joyful tears and applause. Dinner unfolded on a transformed tennis court, reimagined as a lush luau dining space with luxe patterned linens, tiki torches, coconuts, conch shells, and soft sunset lighting. After a Hawaiian-inspired plated dinner, tribal dancers led guests to the final surprise: a ballroom converted into a retro tiki lounge. A multi-course plated meal was served and live entertainment by a singer and guitarist created a memorable dining experience. Coors Light - Chill Train

Event Image

Citizen Relations Experiential
Summary of Event
In 2023, despite its strong performance, Coors Light faced a declining beer market. To regain momentum and boost sales during winter, the brand needed a bold move. Coors Light purchased “The Big Game” ad space on the Canadian broadcast and reimagined the iconic Silver Bullet as the Coors Light Chill Train. For years, Canadians have been excluded from one of the Big Game’s biggest highlights: the ads. Just when it looked like there was hope for change, a 2019 Supreme Court ruling shut it down. Canadian Big Game viewers scrambled to find a bar with a US broadcast via satellite, begrudgingly watching the ads on YouTube the next day or reading headlines like “the best Big Game LVII ads you missed because you’re in Canada.” Unless multinational brands purchase ad time during the Canadian broadcasts. So we did. Citizen Relations was tasked with ideating and creating a consumer brand experience that brought the Coors Light Chill Train to life in an engaging and unforgettable way. In the days leading up to the Big Game, as the metaphorical Chill Train swept across Canada to Vegas for the Big Game, it froze everything in its path. Canadians awoke to a sub-zero spectacle: frozen street lights, statues, benches, bike racks, and even “people”. Frozen freight fell from the train, leaving behind cool prizes for Canadians in Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto. The Coors Light Chill Train campaign led to a 13% sales increase, a 534% rise in searches, and over 451.7 million media impressions

Summary of Event
Jordan’s 30th Birthday Soiree was a highly customized, design-driven celebration set against the backdrop of Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach. With just 30 guests and a tight turnaround of only eight days, the event was envisioned as a bold, floral-forward experience that reflected the guest of honor’s vibrant, joyful personality—without resembling a wedding or traditional garden party. The design journey began outdoors, where cocktail tables were dressed in rich velvet linens—fuchsia, lime, aqua, and tangerine—paired with sculptural gazing balls and luxe rattan lounge groupings. This set the tone for a seamless transition into the main event space, where a 32-foot-long floral arbor became the visual and emotional centerpiece of the evening. Brought to life with over 50,000 fresh blooms and oversized paper flowers, the arbor floated above a single king’s table set for 30. Beneath it, a richly layered tablescape combined fine china, rattan chargers, gold flatware, and custom Jonathan Adler coasters. Lighting was soft and architectural, rattan pendants hung above, and custom lounge vignettes continued the design story around the room. Every element—from florals to furnishings—was selected to evoke a sense of joy, warmth, and thoughtful sophistication. The result was an immersive environment that felt alive with color, texture, and personality—a celebration of Jordan, beautifully brought to life through intentional and exceptional design.

AI-generated imagery—such as a shadowed red apple, golden mirror, and sparkling slipper—added a surreal, modern edge to the immersive environment. The evening featured a literary-inspired menu, whimsical craft cocktails, and captivating performances by Alberta Ballet (from GRIMM) and the Calgary Opera. Signature activations like Blind Date with a Book and a thrilling silent auction were carefully positioned to maximize guest engagement and fundraising outcomes. Summary of Event
Rachelle and Kurt’s wedding reimagined floral and event design by making cannabis the centerpiece of its aesthetic vision—an unprecedented move in Minnesota’s emerging cannabis landscape. Set on a working hemp farm owned by the groom, the event incorporated cannabis plants, leaves, and buds into every element of the décor, from the bride’s bouquet to large-scale installations that framed the ceremony and reception spaces. This wasn’t novelty for novelty’s sake; it was an intentional design statement about beauty, sustainability, and a shared passion. The visual concept focused on elevating the cannabis plant from a cultural taboo to a symbol of elegance. Fresh cannabis leaves were woven into modern floral arrangements alongside traditional blooms and grasses, creating lush, organic textures with earthy tones and sculptural lines. Full stalks with flowering buds were used in ceremony aisle markers, which were later repurposed as dinner table centerpieces—an innovative detail that made the plants both interactive and memorable for guests. The couple’s homegrown plants not only anchored the design but told a story of connection and care, making the aesthetic deeply personal. Every detail—down to color palettes, vessel choices, and layout—was considered through the lens of refinement and celebration. In a region where cannabis legalization is brand new, this event was the first of its kind to showcase how thoughtful floral design can shift perception and inspire new possibilities in event décor.

Jubilee for Justice took place in October 2024 at an elegant hotel in downtown Seattle. This hybrid event welcomed 200 guests in person and more online, featuring a livestreamed program, inspiring speeches, and a Raise the Paddle. The evening raised critical funds to support the organization’s mission of providing free legal assistance for essential human needs like housing, family safety, income security, health care, and education. Our team managed the event from start to finish, including vendor coordination, event layout, registration, and day-of logistics. We facilitated set-up and tear-down, acted as stage managers, and supported the client’s goals with strategic and inclusive planning. The client’s priority was creating a welcoming, diverse environment. After two years of virtual events and two smaller hybrid gatherings, they wanted to scale up while maintaining the accessibility that virtual formats offered. We helped them shape a hybrid experience that preserved this inclusivity while enhancing engagement for both in-room and virtual attendees. To support their DEI values, we sourced inclusive vendors, coordinated a sliding scale ticket structure, and ensured all aspects of the event reflected the diversity of their community. Our event services included: Developing the run-of-show and logistics plan Managing all vendor communications Coordinating food, beverage, and rental needs Overseeing volunteer roles Securing and managing the event MC This was our fourth year partnering with this organization, and the result was a powerful, community-centered event that left guests energized and inspired.

Summary of Event
Let It Roll – Monopoly Night was an immersive, gamified entertainment experience produced by VEGAs Event Group as a year-end celebration for the event industry community in San Antonio and surrounding areas. Designed to bring together planners, creatives, and vendors in a one-of-a-kind networking environment, the event transformed the historic 1902 Nightclub into a fully interactive Monopoly-themed experience. The purpose was twofold: to celebrate the creativity of the local industry and to raise awareness and funds for the SEARCH Foundation. Guests rolled dice upon entry, triggering a point system that powered a live Monopoly-style game. VIP lounges acted as branded properties where sponsors could earn points and purchase in-game upgrades like houses and hotels. Roaming character entertainers, casino tables, crowd-hosted mini-games, and interactive emcees ensured continuous engagement throughout the venue. Bright Light Events and Entertainment
Summary of Event
Rush Week was a fully immersive, college-themed event designed to transform a private estate into the ultimate adult throwback experience. Created for a longtime client known for pushing creative boundaries, the event’s purpose was to engage her guests, aged 30s to 50s, in something wildly different: a comedy-infused, interactive night of playful competition and shared college nostalgia. Upon arrival, guests were sorted into six “houses,” each led by a professional actor embodying a classic college stereotype. From the jock to the sorority queen. What followed was a dynamic, three-round competition packed with oversized inflatables, custom games, and SNL-inspired sketch performances that kept energy high and laughter constant. The property was divided into themed zones like the “Dining Hall,” “Stadium,” “Field House,” and “Quad,” each with custom-built scenic elements. Highlights included a flippy cup table installed over a firepit, bleacher seating, a rolling scoreboard, and a surprise finale: a 22-piece marching band led by celebrity host Kevin Farley who played the Dean. The event wasn’t just entertaining, it was fully transformative. It encouraged guests to participate, let loose, and connect in a way that felt more like starring in a movie than attending a party. It's a year later and guests are still talking about it. Rush Week stood out for its originality, scale, and expert execution. It blurred the line between party and production, setting a new bar for what private event entertainment can be when narrative, nostalgia, and interactive design come together.

“Sh!t’s Goin’ Down: BeatMix Bash” was our way of turning a major shift at BeatMix Music into a celebration. As the live events industry continues to evolve, Founder Becca Kaufman made the decision to step away from her weekend bandleader role and fully embrace her new position as Executive Creative Director. Honoring 20 years of growth, lessons, and creativity, Sh!t's Goin' Down was designed to show what’s possible when entertainment drives the entire guest experience. From the second guests arrived, they were immersed in a world of sound, light, and surprise. LED bracelets synced with motion graphics brought the room to life, while a bar built right into the dance floor kept the party flowing. Even the bathrooms were on-theme with “Sh!t’s Goin’ Down” spray and cheeky baskets. Guests left with disco cookies, QR codes to explore what’s next, and a real sense that BeatMix is stepping into its next chapter with energy, intention, and style. Summary of Event
Anne Marie and Kevin’s December wedding was a captivating celebration that blended timeless tradition with winter wonder. The ceremony took place in a traditional Catholic church, with the reception in a lush palm conservatory—a striking contrast to the snowy Columbus, Ohio climate. Anne Marie prepared at her festively adorned home, straight out of a Christmas movie: white trees flanking the entry, red-bowed wreaths, and a grand tree in the foyer. Thoughtful touches were everywhere—embroidered hankies for the mothers, monogrammed towels, and keepsake ornaments featuring their engagement photos. She wore a long-sleeve lace and satin gown, with her mother carefully fastening each button using a crochet hook. The two shared a quiet, emotional moment before welcoming the bridesmaids for a tearful first look. In the church, beneath vaulted wooden arches and vibrant stained glass, Anne Marie walked down the aisle with both parents. Kevin, in a classic black tux, beamed as they exchanged vows, communion, and offerings to Mother Mary before sharing their first kiss. Outside, a white Rolls Royce awaited, adorned with a floral wreath. At the conservatory, the couple shared a private dance at dusk, Anne Marie’s veil lit by the car’s headlights. Photos continued among poinsettias and tropical greenery. Guests were welcomed by a live artist etching ornaments, with table assignments hung from twinkling Christmas trees. Inside, gold chargers, deep red napkins, and heirloom goblets adorned tables beneath chandelier-lit palms. The evening featured a cookie table, roaming musicians, elf butlers, and lively dancing—a truly magical holiday celebration.

Summary of Event
Danny and Lizzy’s August wedding unfolded at one of Columbus’s most breathtaking venues: Oak Grove at Jorgensen Farm. This romantic spot features a stunning greenhouse, creating a dreamy, intimate atmosphere. The reception space offers a modern vibe, with scattered bistro lights twinkling like stars as evening sets in. They chose to see each other before the ceremony, sharing a private first look outdoors. Though the forecast threatened rain, they enjoyed sweet moments before a light sprinkle sent us inside. Lizzy wore a delicate lace gown with a cascading train and crystal-lined veil, while Danny stood out against the venue’s black walls in a sharp blue suit and soft pink bow tie. The ceremony took place inside the ivy-covered greenhouse, accented with soft pink roses and a mirrored calligraphy welcome sign reflecting the sparkle of the lights. A striking circular floral arch stood at the front. Rows of metal farmhouse chairs lined an aisle adorned with ivory candles. Danny, an alumnus of Denison’s a cappella group The Hilltoppers, opened the ceremony singing with fellow alumni under the warm canopy of greenery. Surrounded by loved ones, Danny and Lizzy exchanged heartfelt vows. Without a traditional wedding party, their portraits afterward felt especially intimate and playful. They entered the reception to a standing ovation, and the evening overflowed with laughter, touching speeches, and dancing. As the sun dipped low, we slipped away for golden-hour photos before ending the night with a joyful sparkler exit — the perfect close to an unforgettable day.

With This Weed, I Thee Wed

Summary of Event
When Minnesota legalized recreational cannabis in August 2023, it opened the door to a new kind of celebration. Just over a year later, Rachelle and Kurt’s wedding became one of the first in the state to fully integrate cannabis into the design, guest experience, and values of a large-scale event. Held on a working hemp farm—where much of the decor was grown by the couple themselves—the wedding prioritized thoughtful consumption, education, and aesthetic innovation, proving that cannabis could be celebrated with the same elegance as champagne or cake. Rachelle, a cannabis journalist, and Kurt, a hemp farmer and CBD entrepreneur, met at a local industry networking event in Minneapolis. Their shared love of the plant—and its potential to heal—quickly grew into a partnership rooted in purpose. For their wedding, cannabis was more than a theme: it was present in the bouquets, built into a suspended floral installation, and carefully explained to guests via menus and a dedicated bud bar. To ensure guest comfort, a licensed drug counselor helped guests navigate strains and dosages, while alcohol was limited to beer and wine to promote safety. The result was a groundbreaking event that felt warm, welcoming, and deeply personal. In a state where the cannabis industry is still developing, Rachelle and Kurt’s wedding didn’t just celebrate a new chapter in their lives—it modeled a bold new path for others to follow.

Summary of Event
To celebrate their advancements in AI technology for the public service sector, our client—best known as the creator of the Taser—set out to host an unforgettable experience for 2,200 VIP guests, including members of law enforcement from across the country. The directive was clear: create “the best party” featuring modern event technology, electronic dance music, and high-impact moments that guests had never seen before. With just two months to plan and execute, our team moved quickly, assembling top-tier event partners to bring this ambitious vision to life. The chosen venue was a raw warehouse with 30-foot raftered ceilings, a single garage door for loading, and a large private parking lot—perfect for creative transformation, but not without challenges. We had only 11 hours for the full build-out, which would be tight but doable. However, just one month out from the event, we encountered a major obstacle: the client-secured venue, while sold as a 2,200-guest space, had a fire code capacity of only 1,500. With little time to spare, we rapidly developed a solution—expanding the event outdoors into the parking lot. This expansion included tents, lighting, food trucks, entertainment, full A/V support, and police-secured barricades to manage safety and flow. Thanks to seamless collaboration with our partners and strategic execution under pressure, the event was a resounding success. Attendees raved about the experience, many calling it “the best party,” a testament to the power of creative problem-solving and precise event planning.

Coors Light - Chill Train

The campaign led to a 13% sales increase, a 534% rise in searches, and over 451.7 million media impressions.

CORT Party Rental
Summary of Event
Two days of events, over 800 attendees, 37,000 square feet of tenting, 300,000 pounds of ballast, 24 truckloads worth of equipment, and only four days to install. This is the basis of this annual corporate event, which took place inside the iconic T-Mobile Park in Seattle. The client's vision was to create a unique indoor space on the ballpark's field, using tents to maintain the venue's spectacular view. The result was two distinct events that embraced Seattle's culture, landmarks, and ambiance, including a coffee shop, an arcade, a picturesque mountainside, and even a "parking lot" outside the tents, achieved through a graphic overlay on a dance floor. The first event took place on a Thursday night, following which our crew had only one day to completely transform the space for the next party. This included changing graphics, rentals, and hanging décor and lighting from truss without damaging the carpet underneath. The goal was to give attendees a fresh experience by making the second event completely unique from the first. Our team made this vision a reality by fabricating custom pieces such as tenting and canvas solutions, carpet installations, and décor, creating an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

2024 Visa Holiday Party

Eclipse Event Co.
Summary of Event
You've seen it every December: a decadent Winter Wonderland Theme. Immersive decor and activations, Holiday Smells of warm cider to drink and frosting to decorate gingerbread houses. And in a forgotten corner of the room are one, maybe two, boxes for optional donations to spread Holiday Cheer that perhaps 10% of the attendees utilized. Our intention with the 2024 Visa Holiday party was to focus the priority on the community impact while still creating a fun and immersive event. The objective laid out by the client was to create a fun party but, as she so eloquently put it, all they (her attendees) want is "free crap". Hence, we made the biggest line item of the event (outside of Food and Beverage) the favors ("free crap"), however, in order to go home with it, the attendees were required to donate something, either a can of food, a box of diapers, toiletries, etc. In doing so, we were able to significantly tip the scales for the smaller Non Profits in the Austin area during their time of need.

Coors Light - Chill Train

The Coors Light Chill Train campaign led to a 13% sales increase, a 534% rise in searches, and over 451.7 million media impressions.

Summary of Event
As part of Destination Canada’s “Open if You Are” campaign, TK Events produced two experiential activations at the Financial Times Weekend Festivals in Washington, D.C. and London, U.K., designed to reframe how international audiences view travel to Canada. The campaign’s goal was to inspire culturally curious, high-value travellers by tapping into deeper emotional and intellectual engagement. The activations—Picture Yourself in Canada and A Penny for Your Thoughts—invited guests to reflect on personal values and cultural connections through immersive, participatory installations. One offered a mirrored photo moment paired with a written personal reflection, while the other invited symbolic interaction with a sculptural Canadian penny, encouraging attendees to share what opens their eyes, hearts, and minds. These activations stood out at the festival for their unexpected introspection, simplicity in design, and cultural depth. They allowed Canada to compete not just for attention, but for emotional resonance. Targeted at globally minded, experience-driven attendees of the Financial Times Festival, the activations drew thousands of interactions, created personalized keepsakes, generated organic social sharing, and redefined perceptions of Canada—not just as a scenic destination, but as a place of values, openness, and curiosity. The campaign’s success lies in its restraint and meaning. It wasn’t about spectacle—it was about storytelling. And it left guests feeling seen, inspired, and more connected to Canada than they expected.

RS Event Productions
Summary of Event
Celebrating 25 years with Dinner and Discovery became the theme of this anniversary event. This event was created to be interactive from the moment guests stepped out of their vehicles. The experience centered around the client’s collection of New Year’s Eve eye glasses, memories from their wedding time capsule and recollection of annual family highlights for the past quarter of a decade. Each year was brought to life with displays featuring major historical events, family milestones, and notable moments from guests’ lives. Guests enjoyed cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres while exploring the exhibits for clues to an interactive scavenger hunt as a DJ spun hits from the past 25 years. The reveal into the dining portion of the tent was a stunning display of yellow tulips, which paid homage to the clients mother and her favorite color. A multi-course plated meal was served and live entertainment by a singer and guitarist created a memorable dining experience. To continue the tradition of creating memories, each guest filled out prediction cards for the year 2049 using engraved pens as a keepsake, marking the future celebration of the client’s 50th wedding anniversary. All memories and mementos from the evening were collected to be sealed in a time capsule, to be buried on the client’s property the next morning—preserving the celebration for 2049.

Next Level Event Design
Summary of Event
The 2024 Annual Partner Meeting was a 7 day corporate program designed to engage and celebrate top law firm partners and their families. We supported 32 different events including social gatherings and immersive evening experiences that ranged from intimate groups to large-scale affairs. Our team led the planning process with a robust project plan overseeing concept development, handling vendor management and production documents, all the way through onsite execution. We began with carefully curated moodboards that would inspire the themes for the program’s signature events. As these were refined and pushed forward, we sourced and vetted new vendors as this was our first time producing the event in Orlando. It was paramount we found trusted partners that could support a large project scope while still providing unique rentals across all events. After building a team of 14 vendors, we began diving through their catalogs and capabilities, curating many design concepts woven together, creating a fabulous lookbook for our client. This digital lookbook included individual designs for all 32 events, each consisting of unique floral, linen, decor, and furnishings. With just 6 weeks following design concept approvals from the client, we quickly built and confirmed orders while creating thorough production tools to ensure these visions executed flawlessly. The program’s success was the result of strategic planning, clear communication, detailed documentation, and our keen aesthetic eye. This strong foundation allowed our team to deliver a polished experience for every guest, highlighting the essential role of expert planning in producing large-scale, multi-day events.

Special D Events (for The Kresge Foundation)
Summary of Event
In 2024, The Kresge Foundation marked its centennial with a yearlong campaign to create an understanding of the importance of philanthropy and demonstrate how Kresge played a role in shaping philanthropy on a national basis. Kresge, a private, national foundation that works to expand equity and opportunities in America’s cities has made significant investments in places like Detroit, Memphis, New Orleans and Fresno. Headquartered in Michigan, Detroit was the clear choice for the capstone centennial celebration. The event gathered more than 400 Kresge employees, civic leaders and Detroit changemakers. They came for the debut of the Foundation’s history video, live musical performances and remarks from Foundation leadership. But they were shocked when former president, Barack Obama unexpectedly joined the Kresge CEO on stage for a fireside chat. Every aspect of the event was designed to support Kresge’s centennial goals, and it began with the event venue, the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA). More than a decade ago when Detroit faced bankruptcy, the museum’s artwork was nearly put up for sale. Kresge, along with other foundations, DIA donors and the State of Michigan stepped in to donate $816 million dollars with the stipulation that DIA artwork would not be sold to pay off the city’s massive debt. Fast forward to 2024, we were able to acknowledge the foundation’s impact on the community by hosting a centennial event in the DIA galleries. From start-to-finish, the event was deeply rooted in Detroit; every detail was designed to lift up local talent and creators.

Every element—from the blended seating arrangements to the heartfelt toasts—was thoughtfully designed to foster connection and celebrate the couple’s shared values. A standout moment included a powerful live performance by a singer flown in from Atlanta, while a high-energy DJ from New York and a team of exceptional local vendors brought vibrancy and personality to the evening. What made this wedding truly exceptional was its authenticity. Rather than follow trends, Eric and Frank curated an experience that reflected who they are, celebrating love without boundaries. Summary of Event
The BMO Holiday Install marked the first public-facing event inside Calgary’s newly expanded BMO Centre — a 565,000 sq. ft. addition to what is now Western Canada’s largest convention venue. Designed and executed in just six weeks, the installation welcomed families, tourists, and event guests into a festive environment that celebrated both the holiday season and the grand opening of this landmark civic space. The goal was to transform the vast new space into a must-visit winter destination by creating custom holiday vignettes that complemented and elevated the venue’s architectural features — including Canada’s tallest indoor fireplace at 70 feet. The installation was also designed with high public traffic, fire code compliance, and engineering approvals in mind. What made this project exceptional was its scope, speed, and impact. With tight deadlines and high expectations, OneWest developed a task force to simultaneously design, source, fabricate, and install scenic elements while collaborating with internal venue teams across architecture, engineering, safety, and events. The result was a visually stunning installation that became a focal point of seasonal public engagement in Calgary. Summary of Event
We recently had the exhilarating opportunity to design for one of the most unique love stories we've ever encountered—two complete strangers getting married the moment they laid eyes on each other, on television. When the popular TV show Married at First Sight called on us to create a stunning floral set for this unforgettable moment, we couldn’t wait to rise to the challenge. With just one and a half days to bring the vision to life, we transformed the space into a lush, over-the-top white wedding wonderland. Our goal was to strike the perfect balance between grandeur for television, and intimacy for the couple stepping into one of the most vulnerable and thrilling moments of their lives. The ceremony was framed with layers of cascading florals in soft, romantic whites, textures that added depth on camera, and thoughtful details to soften the space and help the couple feel grounded in the midst of all the emotion. The reception area followed suit—elegant, clean, and organic—designed to evoke warmth, connection, and beauty that would translate both on screen and in person. It was an incredible honor to be part of such a bold and beautiful beginning. Creating an atmosphere where nerves could settle and love could bloom—before the couple even exchanged their first words—was a challenge we’ll never forget.
